All you fabulous actors & techs out there who have gone on tour, I need some advice. I'm going on a promotional tour for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this fall - 23 cities in 3 months. How does one pack for a 3 month trip?! I go away for a week and my suitcase is usually bigger than me. I'm limited to two bags + one carry-on (we're flying to our first city, so bags have to comply with airline regulations). Hey guys! The theatres are really small and at most have 99 seats so there's not a bad seat in the house. Also, our venue directors and front of house staff are going to be very busy loading one show in while another is moving out and will have a lot to deal with, so I would recommend not showing up hours in advance of the start time - it will only add to the confusion. Two friends of mine from school are participating in "The Lost Colony" production on Roanoke Island in NC this summer, which Terrence Mann directs every summer. I recently saw it and had a lot of fun, it was very interesting and I enjoyed it a lot.

I am SO excited about A Little Princess!! I work for Will Chase (who's playing Captain Crewe) so I'll be flying out to CA to see him the first night of previews and again on opening night. :) I will most definitely post reviews! Is there any way you can get to NYC earlier than 8:30? I've rushed the show a dozen and a half times over the past year and I can tell you, especially now that it's summer and Adam's back that if you get there at 9:00 the line is going to be down the block and wrapped around. I know on a Saturday there are double the amount of tickets because there are two shows, but that also means double the amount of people. Re: Aida Student Rush...I've rushed the show about 15 times over the past year. The box office opens at 10:00 every day except Sundays when it opens at noon. I've always gotten there by 8:00am and been first in line about 2/3 of the time. I've noticed that a couple people will get in line between 8:00 and 9:00 but after that the line gets so long so quickly you don't even realize it. Deborah is ending the show, she'll be there until September 5th. Adam's first night is tonight -- they have an added Monday show to make up for not having a show on July 4th.I was at Will Chase's final performance yesterday.
