I just saw that "Broadway in Chicago" announced that Buyer and Cellar will be playing in one of their playhouses. How do you think this piece will work in a large house? I'm a little skeptical.

That particular theater really isn't that big. It's not one of the houses that the big touring musicals go.
Do you know how large the house is?
For some reason I pictured it going into the Oriental or something... which seemed odd to me.

It will play at the Broadway Plahouse, which seats 549.
My recollection from one time there is that it does not feel like a huge house, but it is also not an acoustically friendly house. Other stops will be more challenging, but I would anticipate they will be up to all these challenges.
I've no doubt they've accounted for large houses and the issues, etc.
I'm just curious how it will play in a much larger house. I loved the intimacy of the show where it was off-Broadway.
It will be playing larger houses during its tour.
I hope they expand the set, at least in dimensions. I found it odd that the walls would be so square. Gives by sightlines for people sitting on the sides. I know those sight lines didn't matter at Rattlestick because of the nature of that theater, but still.
