Buyer and Cellar in a bigger house

Posted: 3/20/14 at 10:23amI just saw that "Broadway in Chicago" announced that Buyer and Cellar will be playing in one of their playhouses. How do you think this piece will work in a large house? I'm a little skeptical.

Do you know how large the house is?
For some reason I pictured it going into the Oriental or something... which seemed odd to me.

Posted: 3/20/14 at 12:27pmMy recollection from one time there is that it does not feel like a huge house, but it is also not an acoustically friendly house. Other stops will be more challenging, but I would anticipate they will be up to all these challenges.

I've no doubt they've accounted for large houses and the issues, etc.
I'm just curious how it will play in a much larger house. I loved the intimacy of the show where it was off-Broadway.

Posted: 3/20/14 at 6:26pmI hope they expand the set, at least in dimensions. I found it odd that the walls would be so square. Gives by sightlines for people sitting on the sides. I know those sight lines didn't matter at Rattlestick because of the nature of that theater, but still.
