Laura Michelle Kelly is a lovely Mary Poppins.. she does have a warmth in some scenes. in others she is trying to be stern to teach the children lessons about life.

DON'T judge her perfomance from that 12 minute clip filmed in a TV studio... see her live if you can and I am sure like myself you will be blown away by her.

I think that Michelle Federer can do!... with a British accent. Afterall Mary Poppins is ALL about British (English) nannies!

Martine McCutcheon suffered through a lot of "no shows" while in MFL. Which could have earned her some ill will. And there'd be less of a possibility for her to do MP on Broadway, given the rules between both Equities...

Cameron would NEVER hire Martine againe in a million years. In fact I can't imagien anyone givign her another chance.

It was not the fact that she was Ill it is that she was pictured several times drinking in late night clubs whilst calling in sick...

Why is it what whenever we discuss possible actors to take on roles, every actor/actress (depending on the role) from WICKED is mentioned and people swear that they could definitely do it. This completely baffles me.

i know some actresses whove told me theyd like to do this show but since its been a helluva long time since ive even seen the movie i wont comment on who i think can actually pull it off.

i would like to see sutton foster in the role! i think this role would be perfect for her! my second choice would be audra mcdonald, but i would rather see her do my fait lady!!! :)
