Bumping back to the top with very important information.
I know a lot of you have bought tickets. There's a weird discrepancy on what we were told about our showtimes and what the tickets are saying. I'll use the example I was just discussing privately.
The tickets for the 19th mention something about doors opening at 5pm with a showtime at 7:05. According to the information our creative team received, our showtime is at 5pm on the 19th. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this as obviously, you want to be on time for a show. My guess is there's a problem of wording as our show lasts about 2 hours straight up, which means they probably intended to let you know the show was over at 7:05. I'll keep you updated when I learn something.
The problem with the start times lies with Ticketweb. Depending upon how you search for the showtime, it might pull up a showdate and show you a runtime. Again, for example, the Friday August 19th show says 7:05 with a 5:00Pm Doors Open. But that's incorrect. When you search through Fringenyc.org for tickets and go by show, you'll see accurate show information, including the real start time. Also, when you purchase a ticket, at the confirmation screen, the information for the show will show the complete runtime, that being (again for the 19th) 5:00-7:05.
Sorry for the confusion! I can't imagine they'll make a fuss over refunding or switching tickets as this is unbelievably misleading information.
Finally, I found a seating chart for the Player's Theatre. It seats 246 people and here's the link to see for yourself!
Addy, have you been assigned to start up the general hysteria at the Stage Door. You know, storming the barricades, screaming Mr. Singer's name and begging for an autograph...
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
OMG! Is that bway coming out of the stage door? Will he sign for us? Or is he going to run to the car waiting for him before he speeds off into the night? OMG!
