Has anybody read that whole megillah re: the audiences at CAT on ATC?
Also, I heard the expression BPT for the first time in my life, when I and a couple of co-workers went to lunch between shows a couple of years ago during the run of NOISE/FUNK. (We were a racially mixed group, BTW), and my friend, the ticket-taker (a black guy) remarked about the latecomers, laughing about BPT, and NOT in a disparaging way; just as a funny "normal" time discrepancy thing. I HAD to ask what BPT was!?

Thank you. I'm old. New PC user. LORD.
BPT is a term that has been used for years. And it is true! (I am black) I think it especially holds true for things or events that black people don't normally go to or do. I suspect that a lot of the black people seeing "Cat..." do not normally go to the theatre. We used to use the term all the time when people were late getting ready to go out, late to a picnic or some affair. Don't know exactly why this is, but trust me, it exists!! It is kind of like Gay time. That's been around for years also. Seems that a lot of times that you go to a bar for some event, it never starts on time!
