Another possible example:
Tricks the Devil Taught Me was scheduled to close today. Since performances were cancelled over the weekend, presumably, it played its final performance Friday.

Posted: 8/28/11 at 11:10amI know MTC is striving to finish out its run for MASTER CLASS. I don't see why it would be different from CATCH ME or BABY IT'S YOU, unless hurricane damage was extensive.

Posted: 8/28/11 at 11:54amI didn't know that the 2008 revival of Gypsy was supposed to be filmed. I loved that production. Is that too late to add to the list of Bush failures?

Posted: 8/28/11 at 4:45pmIn 2002 the revival (revisal?) of FLOWER DRUM SONG announced a closing date of March 16. On March 2 the musicians went out on strike and, as the strike dragged on, the producers of FDS announced that, if a settlement was not reached, the show might never reopen. A settlement was announced on Tuesday, March 11 and, even though the show's star Lea Salonga was still of of town, FLOWER DRUM SONG went on to play its remaining 8 performances (BTW: Yuka Takara went on as Mei Li that night and was wonderful. Rumor has it that's what landed her the part in the touring company)

MikeM "It will be interesting to see if ticketbuyers get refunds for upcoming shows that they are unable to attend because of states of emergency, flight cancellations, road closures, etc. "
If the show actually takes place, the producers are not required to give you a refund just because you couldn't get to the theatre i.e. flight cancellation, road closure etc. It will all depend on how each producer chooses to handle it, but legally if the ticket was sold and the show takes place I've never heard of a time when the producer was required to refund the sale.
