I'm looking at Cats tickets and am seeing that front row on the stage left side is cheaper than the rest of the front row....is there a reason for this? Also - how is the front row for this show? I sat in the front mezz and had a great view :)

Sat Row A of the C-ORCH when I caught the show back in August. The view is superb. You're given a really unique perspective, and you're able to ride the emotional connectivity to the ballads, and have the high energy and palpable raw emotion from the choreo jump right at you! Enjoy! :)

I am so happy you started this thread. I love to sit close and so it is good to hear the front row is good for this show, Mike. And no issues with the stage height? I am trying to remember recent productions here like Last Ship and All The Way and I don't recall a high stage for those particular productions.

For this show, is it better to be closer or more centered? I'm trying to choose between row C, right orchestra (third seat from the far right), or row M, center orchestra (pretty much dead center). Or possibly front center mezzanine, second row. Any advantages/disadvantages for orchestra vs. mezzanine?

I've made general statements to this effect, but will be more specific here. There is a lot going on visually that you will miss if you sit close or to an extreme side. For example, there's some pretty spectacular video mapping and moving light effects that are lost when sitting in the orchestra section.
As with any other show, I hold the opinion that front/center mezz is the best place to sit.
