Avenue Q London example changes

My sister saw this in London a couple weeks ago and didn't know the show at all. She said it came across as extremely dated with the Christmas Eve jokes being very uncomfortable and offensive.

CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL Previews

Jordan Catalano said: "I was at the show last night and really don’t have much of anything to add to what’s said above. It’s a joyous expression of queer art/artists and remains one of the most original things I’ve ever seen. It *maybe* loses a tadof the “edginess” I felt it had downtown but I’m willing to forgive any shortcomings with an event like this.

As for the sound, we were in the very front mezz and there were zero issues w

CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL Previews

Anyone know was the view from front row Mezz? Can you see the downstage area in front of the runway where they took out seats? It looks like it is set up so that a lot of action can take place down there, not sure if that's true.

OFFICIAL: Lane/Metcalf DEATH OF A SALESMAN to open at Winter Garden, March 2026

Any photos of it?

Cats: The Jellicle Ball to Broadway

Just bought front row Mezz tickets for April. I'm slightly worried about being able to see the end of the runway from up there, but I was more concerned about heads in the way sitting in the mid-orchestra. We shall see...

Cynthia Erivo's Dracula - Terrifying Pics!

People are always quick to place blame, often warranted, on directors, choreographers, designers, etc; that I always wonder why it seems no one wants to ever put blame on an actor. It's Cynthia's job to learn the lines, that is really the base-level job of an actor before any 'acting' can begin. If she hasn't done that - she is to blame.

OH, MARY! Reviews

Anyone know if they have seats set aside for lottery/rush or is it only available if the show isn't sold out?

Rocky Horror Show Revival Cast

To anyone calling Josh Rivera chunky or a bear - you are insane.

I feel like he would absolutely think of himself as a muscle bear...

Rachel Dolezal thinks of herself as black but that doesn't make it true. Seriously though - muscle bear or not to call that man chunky is

If Juliette Lewis and Amber Gray don’t make you think “unhinged, vaguely threatening alien person, but make it rock and roll,” then I don’t know who would.

And Josh Rivera is hot as hell.

Josh is a stud and just wait until we see this 6'1 thick muscular PRin those tight shorts. His big butt gonna explode in that bikini!

Sanders doesn't come off as a ripped, muscular Rocky. But a chunky, muscular bear-type of Rocky.

Who is Sanders?

Cats: The Jellicle Ball to Broadway

malcs98 said: "Additional cast members just announced notably including ballroom iconLeiomy as Macavity and 1982 CATS Original Broadway Cast Member Ken Ard as the DJ"

Leiomy as Macavity is super exciting - obviously going to be a completely different take than Rodrick Covington.

Snow Storm This Weekend

I can't believe in the year 2026 the city does not have protocols for inclement weather. Something as simple as saying if more than 3" of snow are on the ground and another 3"+ are expected throughout the day then shows are cancelled. So embarrassing.

Also in the original staging, Deutoronomy sits all the way upstage facing the audience, so this is basically just like that. Yes the cats were performing facing out, but we could still accept that he was watching them perform, even though he was looking at their backs most

I'm a fan as well, my only complaint is that passage is almost impossible to decipher the words she is singing when you are in the theater, unless you know it already. I wish they could have done a li

My point is just the white savior stuff also comes off as gross on a first watch.

I feel like even Ragtime diehard fans (like myself) can agree the show could use some trimming and script adjustments. I wonder if Ahrens and Flaherty are the reason that no

Carrie Coon tells it like it is

I found it interesting and hypocritical that they made such a big deal about how unfair it is to have to be a celebrity to be in a Broadway show, but then gave no credit to the (non-A-list) rest of the cast of Bug. Also no acknowledgement that Carrie being the partner of the playwright played a role in her getting the part.

Alot still works, and some of the design was lovely. But I guess what burst off the stage at City Center gets a bit swallowed up at Lincoln Center, and i was left cold(er).

Not trying to invalidate your opinion at all - but I think this may just be a symptom of seeing the show multiple times and becoming more familiar with it. I remember seeing it for the first time in the 2009 revivial be

I saw the show twice at Lincoln Center - once right after opening and then again a month later. The second time I felt the sound had finally gotten the balance right and it sounded as good if not better than the recording video. I guess I'm in the minority but I really love Nichelle's performance. I think her lighter more modern sound is so interesting to hear

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Revi(Off-Broadway, New World Stages)

I didn't see the show at the Kennedy Center but I found the new additions (Justin Cooley, Jasmine Amy Rogers, and Lilli Cooper) to be the strongest in the show.

I don't know anything but I would keep tabs on her Instagram stories as the last time she was out she would put up a story when she went back to the show.
