Well, we had an earthquake at about 8:09. Don't know if they felt it at the theatre but it was felt in my apartment in SF.

Posted: 8/2/06 at 11:53pmUgh, I really wanted to go tonight but couldn't. I'm going tomorrow night though, so if no one's reviewed it by then, I'll write something up. I went the first night of previews and LOVED it... I can't wait to see it again!

I was at the American Natural History Museum today in NYC and meandering through the Earth Science/Rocks exhibit... there was a seismograph and a plasma screen displaying the recent earthquakes in the US. As usual there were tons of little 1.0 and 2.0 yellow circles all up and down California (we have dozens a day without feeling them).
But then there was this flashing orange circle, bigger than the rest and I thought: "Well look at that! SF's shakin'!" Then again, it was probably caused by the cast doing their last warm-up pre-show with those countless kicks!
Can't wait to hear how Opening went. Just a little peeved I'm not there... Missed LITP first preview and now I'm missing ACL opening... grumble.

Was it an Earthquake or did that guy in yer Avatar take his shirt off due to the heat?
Chorus Line runs about 2 hours so we should know soon here in NYC.

LOL! He always takes his shirt off. He's on "Passions" and all the men seem to be shirtless.
This is from the "Passions" website:
Question: Why do all the hunks go shirtless in Harmony? Is there a T-shirt shortage? -- Phyllis
Tabitha: Are you complaining? Just enjoy the view! Although I must admit it’s certainly amusing how the men have to take their shirts off before doing anything remotely physical. “I’ll open the car door for you, sweetheart – just let me take my shirt off, first.”

"So reviews will be out tommorow?"
I would look for the newspaper reviews on Friday. They are usually not as fast here as in NY. Perhaps Variety will have a review tomorrow but I think the SF Chronicle's will be on Friday. If I see any, I'll share them.
