CSC 2017-2018 Season

CSC doesn't have a set page on their website, but the new shows have been added to http://www.classicstage.org

They are:

As You Like It

Twelfth Night

Fire & Air (a new Terrence McNally play)

Summer and Smoke

and Carmen Jones

Doyle is directing As You Like It, Fire & Air, and Carmen Jones. Jack Cummings III is doing Summer and Smoke, which is a co-production with the Transport Group.

Personally, I don't find this season particularly exciting (at least on paper - the shows themselves may end up being very good). I'll definitely want to catch Fiasco's Twelfth Night no matter what, but the others I'll wait until casting is announced, I think.

Carmen Jones is very intriguing.  It should be interesting to see what Doyle does with it.

And now with the casting of Anika Noni Rose, I really hope to see CARMEN JONES.
