Sadly enough, I was deprived and didn't own a copy of this CD, so I decided there was no time left to be missing out on what turned out to be the wonderfulness of Cabaret.

I bought the original Broadway cast.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!

"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."

Haworth's "Dont Tell Mama" is one of my all-time favorite songs, period. And while the movie and revival have their plusses overall, the OBC remains my favorite recording of Cabaret.

The OBC will always be special because it was the first time we got to hear these great songs.
