Cabaret day seats/lotto/standing?

Have searched to find out if they exist but can't see anything - anybody know?

Looking for a cheap way to see the matinee on 31 Jan!

They don't do lotto, or standing room either, as far as I know.

They don't hold seats for rush, so if it's sold out it's sold out, but if they do have any leftovers, these are the Roundabout policies:

GENERAL RUSH

Limited number of mezzanine tickets offered at each venue box office on the day of performance only. Average price $27–$47. Subject to availability.



STUDENT RUSH

½ price—best available—½ hour prior to curtain at each venue box office. One ticket per valid student ID. Subject to availability.

So if the show is showing as sold out on the website, I can assume I have no chance of anything on the day?

Pretty sure. I mean, you can always try to get cancellation but that won't be discounted.

Has any student gone 30 minutes before curtain to get half price tickets? How much was it?

If you join Roundabout's HIPTIX program (it's free) you can get two tickets to any performance for $25.

You could get HIPTIX if they had any available which they probably don't.

What part of half price is confusing?! If you get a seat that usually costs $110, it would be $55, if you get a seat that usually costs $250, it would be $125, no? Depends on what seats are available and their normal cost for that show.
