Saw Orville and Eva a few days ago and have been thinking about it nonstop.

One question I have - in "I Don't Care Much", what is the intention of this tender moment between Emcee and Sally? He looks terrified at first before he realizes its her... whats going on there?

Ok, I guess two other questions:

2. What was the significance of placing the statues... soldiers? Toys? On the revolve during... i forget which number.

3. I felt like that was echoed in the finale. Regardless, was there any significance to that staging? I'm stuck on two interpretations: a) I was reminded of 'the longest line' from Indecent. Lines of Jews waiting in concentration camps. The other, b) is that it's a "the world goes round" - life goes on for some and bad things will continue to happen.

Any insight or discussion is greatly appreciated. And figured I'd start a new thread since this isn't specific to Orville/Eva like the current thread is.
