Exactly my thoughts and experience too, bfreak. I thought Michelle Williams was good too, and had no complaints about her.
However, having seen Emma now, I would have to give her the edge. She brings a little more feistiness to the part, a little bit of herself if you ask me! At intermission, my mother (who I had taken to the July show too) leaned over and said she preferred Emma already. I had to agree. It sounds like you're as much of a fan of hers as I am, so I look forward to hearing your thoughts on her! Have a great time.

Yes, indeed. A few really lucky people were even able to see it with great seats 40% off at TKTS!!

Posted: 2/10/15 at 12:35pmDoes Cabaret usually list on the website if cast will be out with advance notice? I'm seeing the show the 21st matinee so would think I may risk not seeing some cast (Sienna Miller?) due to the Oscars being the following day.

There is no mention of Miller being out.
Not sure if she's going to the Oscars or not, but even if she is, I'd say it's likely she would still perform on the 21st. Bradley Cooper is scheduled to perform two shows. They'd likely do their performances and catch a late flight to LA. That is, if Miller is going.

Posted: 2/10/15 at 1:20pmI don't think she will be going to the Oscars. She isn't nominated and it is her first week. I wish Emma had stayed with it the rest of the run, because she was so good! (Not that I would have seen it a 3rd time anyway)
