apart from some scattered seats in the mezz it was packed, brought a tear to my eye, huge applause for Tyrones first appearance, after every scene, at the end, huge standing ovation, what a way to go out!

It really was a Rock Concert performance, and so nice, after seeing the show a couple of times in previous months when there were maybe 100 people in the audience, to send it out with a bang.

If anyone is in the midwest, the Phoenix Theatre in Indy just scored the rights to the first US regional production this summer.

Just saw it today in London! It was really well done! I was really impressed by the lead (Jason/Tyrone) and only just now discovered the actor was freaking Dudley Dursley! He grew up so much better lol. What an enjoyable show. The balcony was closed and people were moved down to the dress circle, which sucks for a weekend show but I hope word of mouth grows and the audience grows with it.

Curious: in London did they do Texas accents and was it still set in Texas?

Yes! The accents were very Texas -- I forgot for a moment that it was set in Texas and I was like "ugh again people here think American accent = Southern accent" but then I remembered and stopped being a jerk. They were pretty decent accents, nothing offensively bad that stuck out to remind you that they were English people. Still can't believe Jason was Dudley haha.
