they were lipsyncing to their voices so the singing is original (except mini driver...but thats an opinion) the acting and singing were flawless and it was the best movie I have ever seen. See it anyway! lol but SOMETIMES the singing was a little out of sync but it was only becuase I look at detail. ballet will do that to ya. See it anyway and pass your own judgements. its worth seeing even if the syncing is bad.

Actually, that's not an opinion; it's a fact that Mini Driver doesn't sing as Carlotta. Although Driver has a good singing voice (she sings the new song that is played over the closing credits), she doesn't have the strong soprano voice needed for the Carlotta role, so they brought in someone else to record it.

The BEST movie you've ever seen? Wow, you're the first person I've heard say that.
