Camille Velasco from American Idol featured in Footloose

This is at the same theatre (Carousel Dinner Theatre - Akron, OH) I saw Jennifer Hope Wills play Emma in Jekyll and Hyde. The choreography is by AC Ciulla (original Broadway choreography/Tony-nominated). Now Camille Velasco from American Idol Season 3 is playing Rusty. Not sure what I think about this because I did not care for her too much on American Idol. I will definitely give her a chance, though. I hope to work at this theatre next season...hopefully they will keep getting the Broadway performers/big names.

I agree - she wasn't too hot on AI. But out of the rest of the top 10 (Besides Fantasia ofcourse) she probally got the biggest record deal, she's with a major label.

Dang, that was a bad choice. Out of all the AI contestants and other people they could pick from, they chose her, I mean seriously?

Camille and Carrie were in different seasons.

Camille was in Season 3 with Fantasia, Diana DeGarmo and the royally robbed Latoya London.

Carrie was in Season 4 with Bo Bice and the creepy Scott Savol.
