Did Carole Shelley leave permanently? She is no longer on the playbill vault listing, but she is on the website, and I'd like to see her.

Carole will be back in a week or two. I caught her at the last performance before her scheduled absence and she told me. GREAT lady!

I gotta be honest (and, yeah, it seems churlish to complain, because she's a theatrical legend.) but...she was very low energy the matinee I saw it. Maybe just a long weekend or something, but I didn't love her in this.

She took over towards the end of October. You must have caught one of Jane's last shows.

Just saw the show tonight for the third time - guilty pleasure every time I'm here from Phx. Her replacement was fabulous, in fact the best I've seen. Understood every word she said which wasn't the case with the original actress. (Sorry - too tired to look up names).

Only because with limited time in NYC each visit and plenty of shows to see, I have to see this one! It's fantastic.
