Posted: 8/9/06 at 8:48pmDoes Carolee Carmello appear at the end of Lestat to revive her son with her blood. Because when I saw a clip on the Internet, it was Marius who did that. Did they change it to Gabrielle?

Posted: 8/9/06 at 8:51pmThere is no need for a Spoiler Warning for a show that has closed and will most likely never be revived.

Posted: 8/9/06 at 8:52pmIt is if you're too busy writing parodies and want an element of surprise!

Posted: 8/9/06 at 9:09pmDuring previews, they did experiment with an ending where only Gabrielle came to Lestet. Originally, they did it with just Magnus, then changed it to just Gabrielle, finally both.

When I saw it she came back, and they did A Crimson Kiss reprise and then it ended with Hugh's little thing.
No one else I talked to said they had this ending, so it may have been trashed quickly.
In my playbill I believe it just said the fianle was instrumental.

Yes. Both Marius and Gabrielle came out. Marius first, then Gab.
In the original SF version (in case you are interested) all the leads (excluding Marius) had a short solo line in the finale, and then the entire cast came on stage. If I might say so, the SF ending was MUCH better.
