Let me get this straight. You are an Eden Espinosa "lover" but you don't like Carolee, a woman who has the most incredible voice on the Broadway stage right now and who can take any role and turn it into something magical?

I have never seen her perform live but from the little I've heard her sing she is wonderful.

I would agree that Carolee is an amazing actress, I saw her "Parade", but I can't stand listening to the woman sing.

damn you MTV, altering the standards of what people consider good singing. if China, the largest country in the world, can convince its citizens that Chinese opera isn't excrutiating beyong description, surely MTV has been able to lead millions astray from appreciating a voice like carolee's.

No, I prefer singers who can carry a tune that can make the angels cry. Not voices that make the baby Jesus throw a tantrum and spit up.

I have seen Carolee and she's nothing short of incredible. Acting, singing, comedy, she's just great.

Both women are amazing. I love Carolee SO much. I also think that Eden has a large future ahead of her if she plays her cards smartly.
As for Carolee Carmello playing Elphaba, I'm not sure I'd like that. I prefer a younger actress. I even think that Idina is a bit too old for it. She's supposed to be entering college at the beginning. I'm all for Eden and Shoshana, who both sound amazing in the role.
I do, however, wish that more roles for Carolee would open up. There has to be something better for her than "Mamma Mia." Agreed?
