Just got a phone call from my friend in London who saw today/tonight's first preview of Caroline, or Change starring Tonya Pinkins.
It was brief (thank you, international cel calls!) but he did say she is unbelievably sensational.
As I figured she would be.

He say anything else? I hear the Noahs are very good!

No, those international charges being what they were, I think he just wanted to confirm to me she's sensational. We'll chat about it later.
It bodes well, though, that they made it through the first preview since he mentioned the National's spotty record getting tech up in time.
