I was just wodnering who sings If I Loved You In Carousel. I read that a man sang it but does Julie reprise it as well? If so, how old is the character Julie approximately? Thanks!

Julie and Billy both sing it, as part of a very long, very famous musical scene. He later has a reprise of it in Act Two.

It's a duet between Julie and Billy. I think Julie is in her 20's. She's young, but old enough the get married and have a baby.

I always thought Julie was just a teenager at the start. Not sure if her age is ever referred to! If I Loved You is a remarkable song and is VERY emotional. When it is reprised musically in the Ballet it is simply wonderful!

I believe Julie is about 18-21... Depends on the director

Ummm, you really should try reading the play, or just renting the video... or listening to the CD...
