Carousel in Benjamin Buttons

Went to see The curious case of Benjamin Button last Thursday. Just for theater reference awesomeness, a section of the ballet from carousel is featured in the movie w/cate blanchett. Even though I am pretty positive it is not Cate actually dancing, she looked amazing. Plus the number is very well done and the scene is beautifully shot. It makes me want to see a production of Carousel.

She said on Oprah that there was a dance double present, but Cate learned the dance as well.

She did the dance in the film and it was up to the director to intercut the professional dancer's dance with that of Cate's.
