re: Carradine, d'Arcy James and Kind Are Next Scoundrels on Broadway

Kinda makes me sad, because I have tickets for Inishmore 3 days after D'Arcy leaves. Hopefully it will still be open... But I am happy for him! They all should be wonderful, but I doubt they will shine as brightly.

Luckydave14 & Ebonic_Singer:

Sorry for leading you astray I phrased my last post incorrectly...

What I should have said is that I have tickets to Inishmore July 23, which by the article on playbill is 3 days after D'Arcy's bow in DRS. I don't actually know when he's done with Inishmore.

Sorry re: Carradine, d'Arcy James and Kind Are Next Scoundrels on Broadway

Does anyone know??

I agree on the casting of Carradine and James, but I don't see Richard Kind in the role of Andre at all.

I'm hoping this is still running with this cast next april.
I've already seen DRS twice (once w/ OBC and once w/ NLB, Pryce, and York)
and I really would love to seeeeeeeeee this!
anyone think it'll still be running in april?
I hope so.

I love Richard Kind - but I'm just not seeing him with that broad French accent and dancing Lucie around with Like Ziz/Like Zat.

I guess in my brain and heart, Greg owns the part.

Mamie, I'm with you, Greg is Andre and no one else will be the same. I like Richard Kind but am not sure about the accent. I LOVE Greg's French accent. Then again, I love Greg. I read an interview with Kind where he says that he is not much of a singer or a dancer. I love when Andre and Muriel dance. Greg is so graceful. I am just not sure if Kind has the grace and charm that come so naturally to Greg. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

For those who are just seeing Inishmore for Brian, you will be dissapointed. He pretty much only has one major scene. And those who are saying Inishmore will close soon, I think you are wrong. Every week the show's percent capacity is going up. In fact, it was the only show this week to go up. I think it will atleast last the summer.

P.S. Sorry for the threadjack, but I have to defend my Inishmore.
