Of course not! Carrie should only star the trendiest of the trendy. No one is going to see a Broadway musical with some old hag from an 80s TV show only gay people have heard of. If a show wants to sell tickets, it will need a TRUE star. Someone who will be insanely popular for about two weeks MAX, but everyone knows her name. Do I even have to say it? KATY PERRY!!

I'd rather see her in Carrie 2. Not the awful sequel in which they offed poor Amy Irving, but a new one where Jessica Fletcher tries to figure out who dumped the blood on Carrie. (it'll turn out to be guest star Morgan Fairchild! - spoiler alert, oops, and then end with that grumpy doctor saying a funny line)

Since the post was about Angela Lansbury,those are awfully harsh words that you mentioned about a living legend, mistermatt. She certainly deserves more respect than that. Someone must have been drinking the crazy kool-aid when he posted those nasty remarks.
