I did not think about Hugh Jackman's Sunset Boulevard.

Ah, I cherish my scratchy cassette tape recordings of my Miss Gulch Returns and TIME LP's. Those were the days...
How about a studio recording of "Drood" with all the music? Including the cut and added songs. There could be a second disc that included all the murderers, all the Datchery's, all the various lover's duets...

Why would one not pine for CARRIE? For those that have heard the music, if is at many times absolutely beautiful.
...and when they first released Drood on CD they had all the endings... I have it here somewhere.

The Civil War - yeah the book may have been weak but those voices were amazing...all I'm left with is country people singing those tunes

The first Drood CD left off some of the cut numbers (Ceylon, Moonfall Quartet) and added all the Datchery and murderer songs (not the lovers, though, which I realize would get long and probably tedious). Then it was released with only a couple of the ending songs, but the others restored. Now both are sadly out of print.
I think that the Carrie solos and duets are mostly quite beautiful, but the group numbers do get quite inane. Still, it would be nice to have a "clean" version of the show.
The Annie revival was recorded. Is it out of print now, too? My CD's come and go so quickly, here.
BEEHIVE
and how cool it would have been had a recording been made of Liza when she did Chicago:))

There was a recording of the Annie revival, Joanna Pacetti and Nell Carter??????????????? WHEN??!!
Also TEACHEROFTHEATRE Liza recorded "All That Jazz" and "My Own Best Friend" for cd. She sang Best friend as a solo for a few shows that's why she recorded it as a solo. You can also find a cd out there of Liza and Chita's live performance of Chicago!
