DUDE has been recorded (to everyone's sorrow.) I don't know if it was a studio recording or an OBC (nor did I care after trying to listen to the title track) but Nell Carter performed on it.
GEORGY is another pop-sixties score with mind-bendingly atrocious lyrics, but I'm glad it was recorded--otherwise I would never have heard these immortal couplets:
How'd ya do and where's your monkey do?
How'd ya do, how'd ya do--ooh!
I'm a goat and you're my doggy-do.
How'd ya do, how'd ya do--ooh!
In a yellow sky, you know the sun is blue.
So how'd ya do, how'd ya do-do?
Anyone care to explain those?
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
