Okay, I may just be weird, but I was wondering if you own any cast recordings and haven't ever listened to them (or have only listened to them half-heartedly once.) Maybe they were a gift, or you bought them but never got around to listening. I have many but I have a four-day car drive this week to get to school, so I'll be listening to many of them (my poor father...)
Never listened to:
Phantom
Cabaret (which i did see, just never listened to the CD)
Mamma Mia
Hairspray
Ave. Q (but only because I just got it for my b-day along with a few others)
Fame (same as Ave. Q)
Listened to once:
Evita
Godspell
Hair
Now don't yell at me for not listening to any of them...but I'd welcome suggestions for what I should listen to first.
i count 47 i haven't listened to yet. i'd go ahead and give cabaret a spin, "i don't care much" and the last track are very moving.

I listened to Evita 3 times before giving up on it utterly. And I only gave it that many chances because I was being tested on it. I'm probably never listening to Wicked again. And I haven't listened to my CDs of No Strings and Damn Yankees yet for no particular reason. :)

The original Little Shop and Grease cds. My dad did these for shows at his school before the new cast recordings came out and gave them to me. Also a few others, but I never listen to them so I forgot their names. They're all original cast recordings though with bad sound.

If I'm not mistaken, the OBC of Grease isn't much to listen to anyway.
mamma mia - have only heard the first 2 or 3 songs

Mamma Mia. I got it last Christmas (along with The Producers, which I've listened to so much it's got scratches) and never even opened it.

Why bother when you can listen to the ABBA Gold CD?

The only reason you would have a cast recording that you have never listened to is because it was a gift. Now, if YOU bought it and have never listened to it, we have problems. I always give a cast recording atleast one listen. One song or someone else's opinion isn't going to sway mine.

Bounce. Well, I listened to it, four times, but I doubt I ever will again. Shame. I really wanted to like it.
Urinetown. I LOVED the show but for some reason have never bothered listening to the OCR.
passion, the scarlet pimpernell.... i bought bounce because gavin is n it and i listen ti his three sonmgs and havent even touched disc one
It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman!
I actually bought it myself, listened to maybe 5 minutes of it, and never listened to it again. I've had it for something like 6 years now.
Also, Forever Plaid (saw the show, and didn't care for it), Movin' Out (just have no interest in it) and Carousel (I despise the show). These were all gifts.

bwaybaby--you have a 2 disk Bounce? Mine only has one disk... Ah well, wouldn't listen to it if it had 2 disks any more than I listen to the 1 disk...
I too bought it for Gavin. Sorry, Gav, I tried.

Wow...do you guys wanna get rid of some of these??
WONDERFUL TOWN. Listened to it all the way (which I forced myself) and then never put it in again.
What a waste,
What a waste,
What a waste of money and time!
Just kidding, I love WONDERFUL TOWN.

Mamma Mia. **buries head in shame**
What was I thinking when I bought that?? It's been 4 years, and I haven't even unwrapped it!
(I only bought it because the Toronto cast made the show enjoyable, and I wanted something to dance to. But really, "Mamma Mia" is dinner theatre without the dinner.)
I only have one CD that I own and haven't listened to and it's this crazy DISCO EVITA CD by Festival. I got it for 6 bucks and then saw it on Amazon for $70 because apparently it is rare and out of print...
I own a copy of that CD also *hangs head down in shame*
Flower Drum Song....why I own it, I don't know why.
The Original London Cast of Grease. It just sounds boring and not very energetic. The German Concert Cast is the best!
