Posted: 7/19/07 at 8:23pmOooh Rachel York! Also I'm gonna throw the obvious, Sutton Foster would make a fab Satine as well.

Nooooo, Sutton's too cute for Satine. I'd be SO down with Rachel York, but I really wouldn't be able to buy Sutton in the role.

gotta have Caroline O'Connor for Nini-Legs-in-the-Air.
Satine - Sara Gettlefinger NO DOUBT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that Caroline should reprise her role as NINI.
Satine should be someone a little older then the youth of musicals today...
Maybe put Felicia Finely in the part of Satine
or Lauren Kennedy.
And I love David Burhman's voice for Christian or my dear friend and incredibly talented Dan Perry

Posted: 7/20/07 at 3:37pmAw, thanks :) It's exciting to imagine the possibilities this has by imagining Carol saying Satine's lines. Like in the "Elephant Love Medley", when Christian is on top of the elephant, I can just hear her shrieking "Young man! Young man! I'll thank you to get off of my elephant, young man!".

Posted: 7/20/07 at 3:44pmI think Gettlefinger would be a good Satine. She should be fairly young, IMO. Maybe Orfeh would be as old as I'd go.

Satine - Rachel York
Christian - Noah Racey or David Burhman
Zidler - Ernie Sabella or Michael Mulheren
The Duke - James Naughton
Nini - Caroline O'Connor
Narcoleptic Argentinian - Aaron Lazar
Le Chocolat - Brandon Victor Dixon
the thought of Noah and Rachel wooing each other makes me happy.

BDrisch--you and I should head the commitee of concerned citizens advocating producers to Bring Carol Channing Back to Broadway In Any Vehicle Whatsoever, Especially Something She Is Completley Unsuited For Because She Is So Outrageous She'd Make It Work.
I'm thinking MOULIN or...SPIDER WOMAN perhaps?
Seriously, love me some Carol so much it's not even funny. Have you read her autobiography? Had me on the floor...

Yes. Yes Yes. Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes YES YES YES.
