I was listening to the 'Shrek' cast recording today and during "I Know It's Today," "Morning Person," & "I Think I've Got You Beat" I found myself thinking of Nicole Parker as Sutton was singing. I know Sutton has a higher voice but her character voice for this role really reminded me of Nicole. I know it probably wouldn't happen but I think Nicole could do this role a lot of justice.
Thoughts?

Posted: 6/21/09 at 9:03pmI personally think she is a better choice than Sutton because she would take some liberty with the role and not do they same shtick Sutton have become to familiar with.

She seems like the kind of woman who is open to learning and trying new things. If you watch her skits on MadTV and then watch her portrayal of Elphaba, you'll see. Similar to Ana Gasteyer (I personally think the two are two of the greatest actresses in the role) she is very versatile. While she doesn't have the most "professional" sounding voice, it is very powerful and very consistent. I'd love to see her in anything
