Catch Me If You Can

I believe the production is still in Seattle, but I wanted to know if anyone had heard anything about it yet. I'm excited about the cast (Aaron Tveit, Norbert Leo Butz), but I have no idea whether the show will actually be good. I'm worried that they may have taken two incredibly talented performers and made just another cheesy musical. Any news would be appreciated!

there was a demo made and a preview type event and from what others are saying about it,the music is pretty good, you might want to look on "that site" to see if they have anything

re: Catch Me If You Can

From my understanding it is performing the month of August in Seattle...so it is only in rehearsal right now. Therefore, it's pretty impossible to get any true idea about how good it might be.

They have a great cast, and the music released so far seems great. It doesn't open until (spring?) 2010 on B'way....so even if it it's not amazing in Seattle, they have gads of time to fix it.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Not till spring huh? For some reason I was convinced this was scheduled for the fall.

DEF not FALL. Aaron Tveit is returning to N2N in September. I suspect he'll stay with the show through the first of the year (assuming it runs that long) and then leave for CMIYC.

Edited for season correction.
