Catherine is an increadibly talented woman. Loved the vocals, and I thought the dancing was fantastic. Are people trying to tell me she hadn't been trained in dance before? She HAD to have. I've never seen the musical before, so I'm not exactly sure how it was 'de-Fosse-fied', but I thought most of the choreography was pretty decent. Especially loved cell block tango. I would also like to add that during 'cell block tango' when the curtain rises and tons of women in skimpy leather cosumes came out I had to pick my bottom jaw up off the floor of the movie theater.
Was also impressed with Richard Gere's performance. His singing wasn't too shabby, and I was very impressed that he actually pulled off that tap dance.
Okay theres my 2 cents
