What happened to it? Is it destroyed? What happens to a set once a show ends?

Any time cats leaves broadway they not only burn the set down, but they also burn the theatre down to cleanse broadway of what atrocity was just on one of its stages. The current winter Garden and Neil Simon theatres are exact replicas of their predecessors, they just rebuilt the theatre after they burnt them down. Of course they also had to burn down the winter Garden after mamma Mia closed.
