I went to see Dame Edna's show a few years ago. For those who are not familiar with the show, a good portion of it is Dame Edna interacting with some audience members. She picks certain people and relentlessly harrasses them for the entire show. Well, Judy Collins was one of the lucky or unlucky ones in the audience that night depending on how you look at it. She was a VERY good sport about it too!

i saw Rosie, Euan Morton and Alec Baldwin at Kristin Chenoweth's performance and John Edwards at the resturant across the street.

At a Sunday evening Assassins this summer, we sat in front of Donna Murphy and Jennifer Barnhart.
Gingerbread houses along golden, frothy canals. Like Venice... only different?

We saw Brent Spiner and Patrick Stewart at Assasins.
The year before, we saw Barry Williams (aka Greg Brady) at Cabaret.

jlm...I was at the same Assassins performance. Mr. Big was there, as was Brad Oscar, a lot of the cast from Hairspray, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, and Donna as you said. Oh and Audra too.

Ryan Cabrera sat directly behind me at RENT last tuesday.

I saw Neil Patrick Harris at WICKED and it was funny because he came out of the stage door and looked displeased because no one wanted his autograph!! Someone wanted to hear that story again.

I also saw the former fist people at HAIRSPRAY the other week.

Fred Ebb is on the Ave Q celebrity list. Was he at today's show? Oh, wait . . .nevermind. lol

I think the only one I actually saw with my own eyes was Danny Glover leaving A Raisin in the Sun.. I heard rumors of Halle Berry being at the final Aida performance, I missed the show but I was around the stage door after the performance... Ahhhh Adam he is a god....

When I went to Kristin's last show in WICKED I saw Jai Rodriguez and Joey McIntire. But he was probably only there b/c he was replacing Norbert. I also heard that Ashley Judd was supposed to be there but didn't know it was a matinee and showed up late.

The ones coming immediately to mind include Harrison Ford, Eli Wallach, Connie Stevens, Celeste Holm, Daniel Davis, Lynn Redgrave, Jane Powell, Chita Rivera, Adam Arkin. Although I didn't see her in the audience, I ran into Anne Reinking in the ladies room at 42nd Street.

Luckiest celebrity at a show? Barbara Walters, who got a double lap dance from Matt Damon and Hugh Jackman.

Not. Fair.

re: Celebrities @ shows

I sat next to Donald Trump at Les Miz and saw Al Roker up in one of the royal boxes. Many at Standing Ovations. Melanie Griffith at Nine. Matthew Broderick, Michael Cerveris, and half the cast of Assassins at The Frogs. Michael Cerveris at Dracula. Hugh Jackman and Isabel Keating at Stephanie Block's concert. Max Von Essen, Billy Porter, Christine Andreas, Stephanie Block, Betty Comden, Michael Feinstein, and others at Cast Party. I also saw Cheno coming out of Carmine's once which makes me wonder how someone that tiny can eat that much food.

Not a broadway show, but when I saw "Most Happy Fella" in LA about three years ago I was fortunate enough to see John Ritter in the audience. In fact, he was sitting a couple of seats away from us.
