Nobody speculated about whether or not she worked hard. What we're speculating about is that some of us think her job involved - among other work related things - posing as arm candy.

I'm sure she worked hard and was qualified to do what she did. Heck, she produced the show at the Bowery according to this thread - so obviously she had skills.

But, there are dozens of people in the city with great p.a. skills. It's easy to get them all in a room (not at the same time), and pick the prettiest one. They couldn't ask for a picture along with the resumes - that would be tacky.

As far as "needing" a p.a. - the company was paying the salary, so why not? If my company was paying for me to hire a personal assistant, I'd find plenty for them to do - wouldn't you?

Wow...skimming over this thread, I don't think I've ever seen a more stupid collection of speculation. First off, who cares. If the woman is an actor, and she's hot, and she's getting work, then great. Second off...no one knows anything, because the amount of contact pretty much anyone on this thread has had with Michael Cerveris probably amounts to less than five minutes. I'm fairly sure none of you have worked with him or know him personally, it's amazingly crass to sit around making judgements.

Christ Rath, I know you have to tell yourself that it was a looksism thing but maybe it was just you. Maybe it was your personality. Maybe you gave off a vibe that on your very first interaction with a person lets them know clearly and precisely that they won't ever be able to stand you. Ever.

Having said that, you've had more injustices and incidents of being burned by people more talented and famous than you than AbbaRabbit has had animal issues.

To me, "posing as arm candy" would imply that she ever pretended to be something she wasn't, or ever tried to cover up the fact that she was his personal assistant, and not, say, his date or his girlfriend or whatever. I'm not sure that the impression was ever given off that they weren't up-front about the fact that she's his assistant, though.

Namo, I know you jump at every opportunity to discredit me and make me look bad (so you look good?), but honestly, it was a job interview. Once I had been there a while, and realized what was involved, I was not interested. And, they weren't interested in me to the point of hiring me, so it all worked out just fine. No one was "burned."

Imdb is a good place for gossip if anyone wants to start a topic, it's kind of quiet over on the MC board at the moment but imdb is basically gossip central and there are no mods. Just saying is all, lol...
