I was just wondering will there be any chance of deh being in TKTS next week since Ben will be having his (absolutely well deserved) break? Because didn't Hello Dolly have a similar situation, being a popular revival but went straight to TKTS when Bette took her break? I would love to see Colton's interpretation of the role! :)

Ben Platt isn't Bette Midler. There's no chance. It was known for a while that Bette would be out for a while at those shows, so they weren't sold. This vacation was announced recently and the shows are already almost sold out except for premium seats. It won't be on TKTS.

Bigger question: are there full price seats? No way. The summer was sold out months ago. I know people who tried for two weeks, and finally would only pay so much. And opted to get seats even farther in advance.

Absolutely 100% zero chance.
That being said, next week is THE week of the summer to try for cancellation line.

just checked, there are around 30 regular priced orchestra seats ($199) for the Wednesday matinee and around 20 for the evening, with less (but still a handful) for other dates, so there are definitely still plenty of full price seats around for next week. Perhaps some people decided to return or re-schedule their tickets once they heard Ben's out. With that being said though, I realize my question might have been kind of foolish because of course the tickets will be going to the cancellation line first, and it probably won't make it all the way to tkts.

I wonder how the cancellation line will be. Better or the same. I can't imagine it being worse.
