Change to Pippin?

Saw Pippin on Saturday night, and Gabrielle McClinton was in for Patina as the leading player. I was really looking forward to seeing some epic hula hooping during Simple Joys, but it never happened! She just twirled it around her hand, but she didn't do the hula hooping across the stage like I've seen Patina do. Did they cut the hula hooping from the show, or is that something maybe the understudy can't do?

Certain stunts and tricks are often cut when understudies go on in Pippin, as many of the understudies have not been adequately trained to perform them.
