I have read a few reviews and they seemed negative, what did you theatre-goers think of this show?...It's been such a dreadful season I don't know what to see anymore.
"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

There has already been a thread on this here. I'd say people's opinions have been mixed, with the overall impression being that the show is pretty blah. That was how I felt about it.
An Enemy of the People has received positive feedback here. I'd say it's worth seeing.

I think that you should go see it, if only to not let other's opinions deter you from doing so. After all, the reviews were all pretty positive about Rob McClure's performance. The show may or may not be great, but it could be worth it to see him perform. Regardless, everyone has different tastes.
As a disclaimer: No, I haven't seen the show, but I plan to when I go back to NYC soon.
