just because she can't sing like Sutton Foster or Idina does not make her bad, she has her own style of singing. I'd like to see you do better

How deluded are you? I am not a huge fan of either. Also, I am a classically trained singer...my own style of singing is quite different from your examples (which I assume serve to call me out as a tenny-bopper, right?). I am perfectly aware of different singing styles. Personally whatever the "Charlotte D'Amboise" style of singing is, I think it sounds bad.

I don't particularly like "Sutton Foster" singing, but what I can tell you what I definitely don't like is "Charlotte D'Amboise" singing. I like her acting and she danced fine, but her voice killed me. I don't judge by comparison, I judge by what I think sounds good and my verdict is Guilty by reason of obnoxious singing.

Charlotte has no presence she can regurgitate what is taught to her! Her voice is less then par and her acting is the worst.

I'm sorry she just doesn't do anything for me.

I'll agree that Christina (in the beginning) wasn't the strongest singer in Charity BUT her presence made up for it 5 fold.

For anyone who cares, the page six Theatre Quiz in the November issue of PLAYBILL is all about Charlotte. There is also a nice picture of she and Micheal on page 2

And in the little SPOTLIGHT box, they talk about the new ACL recording, and they say "... the new cast- led by Broadway favorite Charlotte d'Amboise as the down on-her-luck dance Cassie..."

Plus the cover issue is about CHICAGO 10- which she was a part of

Have not seen Charlotte live, but her dancing (from what I can see in different promotional clips of different shows that she's done) are amazing!
*I think RUthie wud be a great Cassie :P *

I don't see Ziemba having any problem with extensions either, and she is older than Charlotte, I believe.

They're DANCERS. That's what they are trained to do - they shouldn't be losing it in their 40s.

Thought she was great in ACL. 1000 times better than Daphne in Les Miz!!!
