Matilda also suspended their rush and lottery for the remainder of their run. I actually think a good amount of shows stopped their rush and lottery for this week.
however, waitress, SOR, Dear Evan Hansen and Matilda standing room are really good. For dear Evan Hansen you have to get there really early, so it's pretty much like a rush but your getting standing room. I got there at 7:45 (for a 10 am opening) and i was fourth in line. By 10 the line was VERY long, so I'd plan accordingly if you chose that route. Matilda is selling their SRO to the people waiting in rush at least that's how it was today. Waitress they normally make you wait til Half an hour before curtain to get SRO even if it's already sold out. I don't know if that's how it is this week though. School of rock I got mine like 45 minutes before the show. I would check before hand though how sold out the show is and plan around that. Just as a note for most of these shows, it's a good sign that it's sold out online but that might not generally be the case for if they are sold out for standing room. Like today school of rock sold out online but I still had to wait like an hour before they sold standing room.
I can't say anything for great comet since today they had no show so I couldn't see the rush line, but before the holidays it was very popular so I'd definitely get there early like maybe 6:30/7 for a 10 opening and a 7:30/8:00 for a 12 opening.
btw dear Evan Hansen is $42, Matilda is $27, school of rock is $32, and waitress is $32. Hamilton you can get standing room but you'll have to wait early in line too. id double check with great comet maybe try calling the box office if you can, but that's hard to get, so if not get there early enough and if you find out they aren't selling any rush, you'll still have time to try standing room for other shows!
Hope this helped!
EDIT: completely forgot about something rotten. It has a lottery that you can enter up until 10 am I think the day before the performance.
