Wow, that was fun to see. I got to say he does look good with beard in his role in "Finding Neverland".

And fate was definitely on his side as in 2002 he was cast as the Link understudy for the pre-Broadway Seattle tryout of HAIRSPRAY. James Carpinello was cast as Link and had already done promo shoots with the original cast (Harvey, Marissa, etc) and those can still be found online.

Shortly before the Seattle tryouts were to begin, Carpinello chose to leave the production for a film and Morrison was promoted and ended up originating the role of Link in the original Broadway production which gave him the exposure he continues to benefit from to this day.

Sutton Foster, Shirley MacLaine and Matthew have lots to talk about.
