I thought she looked like the bride of Skeletor last night.

"Bride of Skeletor" or not, this woman has a growing young fan base and that is pretty amazing for a 40 something Broadway star.
I thought Glee had done a good job of closing that disconnect, but guess not.
That disconnect will never be closed. For some people if the first 2 notes don't hit them over the head they tune out. (Like people who write off a play after 5 minutes because it hasn't grabbed their attention.)

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
Zzzzzzzzzz....
(Cheno, not frontrowcenter)
LOVED Kurt's 'House is not' and Cheno's 'Home'
nice to have an episode not stacked towards Lea Michele and her belt (dont get me wrong, i love her, but a nice change)
Why didn't they take the opportunity to promote Promises? Seemed strange they touched upon P2 by including "House Is Not A Home," along with Cheno, but why not squeeze more juice out of the music marketing machine that is Glee?
When my friends and I were watching it last night we kept laughing cause the whole episode they were only showing Lea and Jesse in 2 Second increments...Ha, then she finally got 2 lines in at the end of the Episode.

It was a completely different change of pace for the regular Glee fans, but they cannot seriously deny that it was fantastic. Cheno was simply amazing. Loved the duet with Matt (both!), loved the ending, oh man. She is such a great character in this. Can't wait to listen to her songs again.
^ i am one of those who tuned out watching it here and there and last tonight i enjoyed it. not just for chenowith, but for Lea not being in everything and the whole Sue thing. "still building the tension...." i love her. i enyoyed all the songs as well.

well said.
I really enjoyed this episode. It made me more emotional than I'm really comfortable with. haha "Home," "A House is Not a Home," and "Beautiful" were all reeeeally terrific.
My one beef was that when I heard "Heart of Glass" by Blondie in the roller rink scene, I thought Cheno would be singing that and I got very excited. But alas, no.
Is anybody else surprised at the lack of Kristin/Idina scenes though? That seemed... obligatory, but it never happened.
