It just so happens that this is happening when Im in town! The Cher Show is why Im coming. How do these signings work? How early does one arrive etc...

 I was fortunate to be in town for The Band's Visit signing.

Get to Barnes and Noble when they open if you want to get into the performance. If you buy the CD they will give you a wristband which allows you to enter the small event room later in the day. You can then go off and enjoy your day. Return to the store for the performance. Depending how picky you are about where you sit, you can arrive as early as you want and line up. There's really not a bad seat in the room and usually you cant film or take pics. 

It looks like there is a performance which means there probably wont be an actual signing. They will distribute signed CD books for each copy you bought. It save a lot of time to not have folks actually sign. If you are willing to get a copy for me, I will pay you. Message me if that is possible. 

If you are a Barnes and Noble member they will give you your discount on the CDs and let you buy as many as you want.
