Hollywood Reporter and other trades announcing that Cherry Jones joins the show '24' as female President. Production scheduled to begin next month in LA.

I've never jumped on a shows bandwagon before, especially after so many seasons have passed, my I may have to finally watch this show. Cherry is one of my favorite actresses.

I adore Cherry. Let's just hope next season is worthy of her talents. I would have cried had she appeared this season - it was bad enough Paul McCrane had to endure it.
