Chester Gregory on the View!

This coming Tuesday, November 14, Chester (Terk in "Tarzan", formerly "Seaweed" in Hairspray) will be appearing on the View, singing "Trashin' the Camp" from "Tarzan" with Rosie O'Donnell (who did the voice of Terk in the Disney cartoon movie). Be sure and tune in!!

is that honestly the name of a song in Tarzan? oh lord...

that's as bad a title as The Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Boogie

I'm glad that Chester gets to perform this time, it will be a nice change to see him promote the show (as opposed to the usuals of Jenn and Josh) and show off his crazy mad vocals!

well last time they were on the view, it wasnt even jenn and josh. it was josh and phil collins. i was a little upset at that. lol. now im really excited!

The appearance is not about Chester Gregory's career.
It's about trying to sell tkts to a show losing all it's steam
very fast.

That may be why he is going to be on, Curtain, but its a great opportunity for him as a PERFORMER too.

I could swore it was gonna be Jenn and Josh singing "For The First Time", I guess they changed it.

But nows it gonna be Terk meets "Terk"

It actually says "Rosie will be joining the cast" for the number.
What could that mean?

She is going to sing "Trashin' the Camp" (which she sang in the movie) with him and the ensemble, at least that was the plan as of yesterday.

I have had a big Post it next to my DVD recorder for a week with today's date and Thursday (Les Mis on View also). I walked out for work this morning and totally forgot to tape it, grrrr! Let me know how it went!

I mean he was good...but it seemed a little awkward since the ensemble was just bopping around in the background.

Just saw it here in Denver. It was ok. No costumes, just Chester and the cast in Tarzan t-shirts and a mock up of the set. Rosie played the bongos. They sounded good but not sure if the cast was pre-recorded. Chester was singing live. The View gave the audience the OBCR and tickets to see Tarzan.
