Chicago RUSH

Posted: 10/29/04 at 2:42pmAs anyone tried to RUSH Chicago? If so, was the line long and how were the seats? I'm thinking about going on a Saturday in a few weeks.

I haven't rushed in a few months so I don't know what the line is like now, but the seats are usually in the front orchestra on the extreme sides. They aren't great, but they're not too bad.
And just fyi, I don't think they have rush for Saturday night, just the matinee.

You think everything's terrible in your honest opinion.
Listen to NBC, she's more dependable with her answer than bronxboundexpress is.

I've sat in the second row rush seat.... I've never missed anything.
The rush seats aren't as good as they were at the shubert (god I miss that theatre) but you don't miss anything onstage.

I understand what you're saying. I've been in the very last seat in the second row on both sides of the house. Is there a particular reason why you feel the need to pick a fight with me all the time? sheesh.
Getting back on topic, UDJAT, the rush seats are fine.... NBC and I have been in them many a time with no problems.

Getting back off-topic, CJR - you seem to be the lady to ask -
who are the current Roxie and Velma?

Posted: 10/29/04 at 10:38pmCJR, I want to make a recommendation for you. I think you need to take some time off work or make an appointment with someone. Tell them you are having dillusions that poeple on websites are trying to pick fights with you when they're really trying to solve a confusing issue about how we can both sit in the same seat but only one of us being able to have a nonobstructed view. You do seem tense a lot. I know you work hard but relax.

Posted: 10/29/04 at 10:38pmNo problem. Terra will be moving to the tour at the end of November and the current tour Velma, Brenda Braxton, will be returning to Broadway.

It just seems to me that you have this constant need to be contrary to everything I say...
Brenda's a fabulous Velma and I love her dearly... I'd just kill to see some new blood (who's talented -- no more La Train Wreck bullsh!t)

No, but the running joke with all of us is that I could step in at any given moment.
Aside from that, I've played Velma twice.... almost 3 times but had to turn it down due to commutation distance from my house to the rehearsal space.

Try calling her by her real name and maybe I'll answer.
Love them, but neither are my favorite. (which doesn't imply at all that they're bad)
