re: Heather Headley is back! Sep 22 2005, 06:13:01 PM
I'm VERY VERY excited about this. I'm sure this will top her 1st CD by far. There's way too much talent there for not to. The projects she's down in between for movie sounds tracks were also GREAT! Now if she would only come back to broadway.

re: La Cage Vs Rent May 10 2005, 04:04:28 PM
There is no doubt I will see RENT ~ it's just a matter of time. Especially since someone promised to take me. I most def want to see it before the movie comes out. But I see rent as one of those catch at the spare of the moment shows just because you're in the city and looking for something to do. When you say old fashion musicals do you mean musicals like Oklahoma and Hello Dolly?

re: La Cage Vs Rent May 10 2005, 02:56:59 PM
The comments I've received is exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm sure I'm going to see Rent eventually and I'm sure I'm gonna end up seeing it multiple times. So with that being said, I think I will be seeing La Cage this weekend providing I get decent seats. Hopefully the show wont disappoint me - I'm sure to let you all know either way.

I haven't heard the soundtrack for La Cage. How are the vocals and overal score of the show? BTW - thanks for everyone's comments so far.

La Cage Vs Rent May 10 2005, 12:42:23 PM
I'm gonna be in NYC this weekend and I really wanted to catch something while I was there. Everything that I intended on seeing is pretty much sold out. So now I'm torn between seeing Rent or La Cage. I haven't seen either. I've been dying to Rent for a very long time but I know it's not going anywhere anytime soon so I feel I can see it whenever. Then there's La Cage, which I'm not sure if it will be good and if I would enjoy it. Can I get some recommendations on which one I sho

re: G'Bye, Gem of the Ocean Feb 7 2005, 03:40:40 AM
Just like everyone else who's posted - I'm also sad to see this show leave, especially since I haven't had a chance to see it. What's replacing it?

re: American Idol's Tamyra Gray In Bombay Dreams Nov 8 2004, 11:44:08 AM
Can someone tell me how Bombay Dreams is as a show??? Someone was telling me about it over the summer and at the time it reallyd didn't see to be too appealing to me. But now that Tamyra is in it, my interest to see it has grown a little.

re: Caroline, or Change is back! Nov 8 2004, 11:34:09 AM
I hope Caroline is received well out in LA. I'm glad to hear that the show is still going although it's not on B-way. I for one LOVED it and hope to see it again if it comes back to the east coast.

re: CHICAGO - RAZZLE & DAZZLE Nov 8 2004, 09:22:40 AM
CJR will definitely check out their websites. Like I've said before, I enjoyed the show without Wayne Brady being there. I had intentions to see the show with or without him so I really wasn't disappointed. He being there would have been an added bonus. I didn't think the Ambassador Theatre was too bad. I did think it was small, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

CHICAGO - RAZZLE & DAZZLE Nov 7 2004, 09:12:04 PM
Yesterday I saw the matinee show of Chicago and it had all the Razzle Dazzle I expected. I have to admit that this was the 1st time I saw the show, including the movie version. I hated that it took me this long to see such a GREAT show. I could comment on every performance and performer but there’s really no need to. I enjoyed everything about this show. I can’t wait to see it again so I can start comparing shows. It’s the sexiest thing I’ve seen on B-way thus far. Wayne B

re: RENT the tour ...........Student Rush Tickets Nov 5 2004, 08:14:10 AM
I'm so so happy to hear that this cast is good. They will be here in Philly next month and I can't wait to see the show. I don't know about the RUSH tickets. Maybe I will catch a week night show and then decide to RUSH on the weekend if it's really that good.

re: EVITA tour Nov 4 2004, 12:48:49 PM
Thanks for the review wiggum2. A "B" isn't a bad grade. I can't wait to see it either Evita. I'm also going to catch it when it comes to Philly. I agree with you, I hate that it's so far away. I've been waiting for a long time to see a stage production of the show.

re: CHICAGO. A TRIUMPHANT RUN! Nov 3 2004, 01:16:05 PM
WOW - Now I really can't wait to see it. I have plans to go this weekend. This will be my 1st time seeing it on stage and I still haven't seen the movie version because I've been putting it off. I wonder if I will get HOOKED????

re: Chicago RUSH Nov 2 2004, 12:18:59 PM
CJR & NBC and everyone else that commented on the seat, thank you so much. I think I will do the RUSH and take my chances. To me it really doesn't matter but I'm taking my mom so I want to make sure she's comfortable.

Chicago RUSH Oct 29 2004, 02:42:55 PM
As anyone tried to RUSH Chicago? If so, was the line long and how were the seats? I'm thinking about going on a Saturday in a few weeks.
