The general location is fine, but the theater entrance does not have foot traffic. I enjoyed the show and will see it again before it closes.

Did anybody else see this thread title and on first glance, see "Chicago AND Spelling Bee to Close"? I got a little freaked.
Really sad news.....I just went back for my second time on adult night and loved it even more.....But, with Color Purple probably taking up a theatre with a sit down, the closure of Spelling Bee will open up another house to allow more shows to be seen in Chicago.....So, there is some good that will come of it.....But I'm still sad to see such a well done production leave.

Perhaps Avenue Q??? It's a small theatre, and I can't see it appealing to too many producers as a viable theatre for major shows. Avenue Q is another show that neeeds a small house, and this would be perfect.
