Is anybody else attending this concert tonight?
It's currently intermission and Jessie Mueller brought down the house with, "She Used to Be Mine." I really hope she performs again in the second portion.
Renee Fleming is one of the hosts and she brought me to tears with her rendition of, "Summertime." I still have goosebumps thinking about it!
When they were introducing Michelle Williams, before they said her name. They said, "the star of Aida and The Color Purple," and, for a split second, I thought it was going to be a surprise performance by Heather Headley. It was still fantastic!
This concert will be shown on local Chicago television on March 30, so expect performance footage online by then.
