My friend just got an email that the November 4th performance was canceled. It looks like they're switching from Tuesday evening to Thursday matinee performances.

I went to one in Oklahoma City a couple years ago. It was advertised as, well, a rave, so I was expecting it to be remixes, but it's just the songs. There were often times where they played songs with dialogue in the middle that just made the space feel awkward. The rave portion were lights that didn't fit with the songs at all. The original production was ahead of its time, I would love to see this show again. Off-Broadway is a fantastic place for this show to have a second life. I still hold by my opinion that American Psycho should've won Best Lighting over Hamilton.

I would love to see Smile someday. I've always been fascinated by the musical Merlin, but Doug Henning's estate would never allow for a revival. I was lucky to see a regional production of LaChiusa's Little Fish a few years ago. I loved it!
